transforming urban mobility

We manage the secretariat and shepherd the long-term direction of #MoveAsOne, a broad coalition of 140 member organizations and 77,000 individual signatories. The coalition advocates for a safer, more humane, and inclusive public transportation system in the country.

Through policy advocacy, sectoral organizing, and institutional reforms, we are creating  the future of mobility and transportation in the Philippines.

ensuring that every Filipino counts

An estimated 7.5 million Filipinos do not have birth certificates, a prerequisite for registration. As such, they do not officially exist in the system and are immediately placed at a disadvantage in accessing government social services.

In partnership with national government agencies and civil society organizations, we’re collectively finding ways to eliminate barriers like unregistered citizens that cause the “scandal of invisibility.”

engaging the private sector in the SDGs

Despite a robust and engaged Philippine private sector, language and policy barriers hinder full integration of the SDGs in core businesses, hampering focused contributions to the global goals.

We’re working with international development institutions and private sector organizations to bridge cross-sector engagement, so together we can accelerate development of viable business models for people and planet.

powering data for development

Access to quality data unlocks transparency, accountability, efficiency and effectiveness across all levels of governance, leading to more empowered communities.

By bringing together researchers, governments, civil society and citizen volunteers, we are cultivating the technical, cultural and policy changes needed for the power of data to serve all Filipinos.

investing in provincial health

In line with the devolution policy of the public health delivery system enshrined in the Local Government Code, local government units are vital platforms for public health services.  Yet most Provincial, City and Municipal governments are constrained by limited financial and human capital to deploy better public health solutions for citizens most in need.

In response to the effects of Covid-19 on public health, we’ve partnered with ThinkWell to streamline health investment planning tools that can help Provincial Health Offices deliver on the promises of the Universal Health Care law especially in safeguarding and caring for the Philippines’ most vulnerable.
